For a process engineer at a smaller chemical manufacturing company. Seemed to go pretty well, hopefully they get back to me soon with good news. Still haven’t heard anything back from the other interviews I had back in July...

Getting ready to head to an interview myself! Hope all turns out well!
And I feel you on that July thing... people these days are too afraid to tell people bad news. Just buck up and tell me if I got the job or not.

I called one place and was like so uh, have you decided anything. They were like we still got one person to interview, that was last week, so hopefully I hear something soon. Either way I need to know.

Probably have to go buy another burgundy 128i then cut a couple donuts in their parking lot, that’d make them remember me.

Makes you question what goes on in their minds. My partner is a manager at a retail store. He told me they literally grade you during interviews on a points scale. Companies these days.....

I’m shopping around for the same type of position, but it’s a crapshoot over here in Philly. Houston is calling, but I am trying to stay around here where it doesn’t get too too hot.

I was in oil in San Antonio, home is outside of Atlanta so I’m looking for jobs there. I’d had enough with Texas

Well, for the place I called back it seemed more of “do you want this job” as opposed to a formal interview. Plus when I interviewed they were still trying to figure out exactly how many people they needed and what jobs they needed filled. Basically this plant was in decline for a long time, now their biggest competior sold a lot of the business and they’re now back to 100% capacity and need more people. So there is still hope there.
